about
Breathe Again took a long time to finish. Initially it was meant as a "joke-song" about falling in love and stayed that way for quite some time. Later, I realized that I actually like the lyrics of the first verse and decided to make it a "serious" song with a topic that is a little less centered around a love relationship and more generally speaking about people that mean a lot to you.
After deciding to complete this song it took only about a week or two to write more lyrics, find the melodies and record the parts.
I am beyond excited for you to hear it and hopefully it puts a smile on your face!
lyrics
Wise souls once told me
The things that we long for
Are hidden in plain sight
But out of our comfort
In search of the truth I forgot where to look for
And blindly I stumbled right into your front door
So make me fall apart
In the most beautiful of ways
I'll hold you close
Won't let this day end
Cause everytime you smile I can breathe again
Wise souls once told me
The things that we run from
Are mirrored in each face
In which we seek comfort
But in your reflection
A strength unexpected
A new day is breaking
This life ressurrected
So make me fall apart
In the most beautiful of ways
So make me fall apart
In the most beautiful of ways
I'll hold you close
Won't let this day end
Cause everytime you smile I can breathe again
