The lyrics to Don't Wait are based on a recent change I made in my life. I canceled my studies of becoming a teacher to go a new way and pursuit my passion in music. At first this may sound naiv and careless as a teaching job has far better and secure income but it was an important step to me. I studied 5 semesters before realizing that if I would not at least try to set foot into the music industry I would regret it all my life. I feared this decision since leaving school out of a desire for security and convenience. However, lately I realized that, all the people telling me to rather get a secure job were rather pulling me down and holding me back instead of supporting my endeavours.
I think it is very important to chase after your dreams even if people tell you to get "a real job" or be reasonable. As cheesy as the saying is but if you try you can fail. If you don't try you've already failed. And when realizing that you lived your whole life holding back your dreams for security it might already be too late to change it for the better.

Lyrics:
Did you ever reflect at a moment in time
and found that the path you go
is rather a path that others lead
imposing their desire of security
on your aspirant mind
Did you then still follow that path
or did you turn away and rid yourself of this restraint?
I always found myself avoiding what lead to a disengagement
of the convenience I was used to
choosing ease and comfort over personal fulfillment
compromising challenge for certainty
but as my heart grows stronger I will no longer inhibit myself
to do the things that make me who I am
Don’t wait, don’t wait ‚till it’s too late
This is your life, your choice to take
Don’t waste don’t waste another breath
Because stagnation means the death
In all of our lifetime
We are searching to find
The truth that lies behind
A wall of lies of those who didn’t try
Don’t wait, don’t wait ‚till it’s too late
This is your life, your choice to take
Don’t waste don’t waste another breath
Because stagnation means the death
The death of all there is to be
Of all the potential yet to see
The death of all we might become
If we give up what we begun
