The title track of the record. It unites the whole theme of not being afraid of change even if it feels uncomfortable at first. I wrote this song without the whole concept of the record in mind but realized later how perfectly fitting it was. In life we often meet people that try to weigh us down, that try to hinder us in becoming the person we try to be because of envy, resentment or hatred. These people will go out of their way to convince you that you should give up or never even start trying.
However, if we laugh at these people and show them that their trash-talking and hate-spitting is nothing but a waste of breath they are easily disarmed.
lyrics
Lyrics:
They spit their breath to make you feel
Like the artificial hell is real
With all that tries to pull you down
I will never let you drown
A prison built with hidden stones
Cardboard demons seize the throne
But parasites will not return
If they see their foundation burn
Divided tongues and poisoned teeth
Won’t bring you to your knees
(But even if you fall, we'll always rise above them all)
Even old worlds falling apart
Can’t break your golden heart
(As debris falls from the sky we wave our flags and raise them high)
And in the wake of a new day
We face the truth we feared to say
Use the stones of walls we broke
To build of path of new found hope
The only prison is your mind
so leave the numbing pain behind
this is the only spark you need
to get you back on your two feet
Divided tongues and poisoned teeth
Won’t bring you to your knees
(But even if you fall, we'll always rise above them all)
Even old worlds falling apart
Can’t break your golden heart
(As debris falls from the sky we wave our flags and raise them high)
Cause life will break us down
make us feel as if we drown
But we are stronger
Yes we are stronger
Divided tongues and poisoned teeth
Won’t bring you to your knees
(But even if you fall, we'll always rise above them all)
Even old worlds falling apart
Can’t break your golden heart
(As debris falls from the sky we wave our flags and raise them high)
